N. Portland Basement Renovation

We are working closely with our client, who recently bought a 1930s bungalow in North Portland, near Peninsula Park.  The house has wonderful spaces and rooms upstairs, but the basement feels closed off and cramped.  It definitely screams for more light!
Current Basement Layout - very little light, and rooms are cut off from one another
Current Office
Current Anteroom to Bathroom - there is very little purpose to this room
The first phase of this project is a renovation of the basement to increase the size of the bathroom and improve its usability, make a media room out of two small spaces, increase the amount of light within the space, and improve egress.   The Proposed Basement will have an open media room / wet bar, a larger bathroom with updated finishes and lots of built-in storage.  There will also be separation from the utility room, where there is none currently.  We will be expanding upon the existing built-in cabinetry from the office, and that will hold the new sink and countertops, as well as increased storage.
